Quick summary: Our recommendation is to use the crypto exchange Swyftx to buy Just. They have over 300 cryptocurrencies available, have a fantastic app and great customer support. You also get $20 free BTC once you start trading!
Australia has a decent amount of trusted and regulated crypto trading platforms, so it’s quite easy finding an exchange that has Just. While each one comes with its own feature-set and fee structure, most crypto exchanges function very similarly when it comes to buying crypto.
Let’s get into it!
How to Buy Just in Australia
There are only 4 main steps involved and it’s pretty straightforward:
1. Choose a crypto exchange
As mentioned above, we have plenty of options when it comes to Australian crypto exchanges. While that’s great, you ideally want to do a bit of research so you can use one that has a decent fee structure and more importantly, has Just in its list of cryptocurrencies.
Personally, we really like Swyftx, they have over 300 cryptocurrencies, a very smooth process for buying crypto, and their support team has been fantastic.
And if you sign up through our site, you’ll get 20$ worth of free BTC once you start trading, which is always nice.
So for this guide on buying Just, we’ll be using Swyftx as the exchange to go through. Any exchange would work of course, as long as they offer Just.
If you’d like to learn more about the exchanges we like, check our list of the cryptocurrency exchanges in Australia.
2. Sign up with the crypto exchange
Once you’ve decided on which exchange to use, it’s time to sign up.
Swyftx has a very streamlined sign-up process in place. The first step is to fill in the sign-up form.
Next up is to go through their basic verification process, called a KYC, which is required by law here in Australia. This should be very quick and easy.
Once done, it’s time for the next step.
3. Funding your account with AUD
To buy Just, you first need to transfer AUD to your Swyftx account using one of the many deposit methods available. From bank transfer to PayID, POLi pay and credit cards, plenty of options to choose from.
4. Buy Just
The final step is to go to their asset list, find Just, navigate to the buy section, and then trade your AUD for some JST. Once you’ve bought Just, you can track how much you’ve gained or lost either in the app (they have a great app), or on desktop on the left-hand side under your cryptocurrency list.

Unfortunately, most crypto exchanges in Australia don’t support PayPal. The only exchange that you could use is eToro, but their cryptocurrency list is quite limited so you might not find Just. Have a look on their site first, you might be lucky.

Most top exchanges support buying crypto with a credit or debit card. We would recommend Swyftx to buy Just with your credit/debit card.
JUST is a Decentralized Finance (DeFi), platform that was developed for the TRON Blockchain. The entire product range is centered around JustStable, which is a decentralized stablecoin lending system.
The platform was launched in August 2020 after an initial exchange offer (IEO), on Poloniex LaunchBase. The native governance token (JST), however, has been in circulation since May 2020.
It is a 2-token platform that revolves around USDJ tokens and JUST tokens. USDJ is a multicollateral stablecoin that is tied to the US Dollar (USD). JST is responsible for a variety of functions on the platform. These include paying interest, participating with the governance of platform, setting interest rates (stability fees), and setting the minimum collateralization rate.
USDJ on JUST traders need to deposit collateral in form of supported collateral tokens. These tokens include TRON (TRX) and can be exchanged for tokens PTRX. These tokens can then be used to secure a collateralized situation (CDP). The amount of collateral a user has deposited can be used to mint USDJ or withdraw USDJ. To recover the original collateral, however, the collateral must first be repaid.
This platform allows all TRON users to have fair and open access for DeFi products.
JUST is not like other DeFi platforms. It doesn't want to offer one product that is only useful for a small number of DeFi users. Instead, it is creating a range of products that can be used to a variety DeFi purposes. This will become the foundations for a complete DeFi ecosystem in TRON.
As of January 2021, the JUST ecosystem includes five products. All of them are designed to work together, and provide additional utility for users.
- JustStable is JUST’s flagship multi-collateral, decentralized stablecoin platform.
- JustLend, a TRON-powered money-market protocol that allows users to add liquidity to lending pools and take out low-interest cryptocurrency loans.
- JustSwap allows you to create a permissionless liquidity pool, and trustless TRC-20 token swaps.
- JustLink: Securely Supply Smart Contracts with Real World Data Using the First Decentralized Oracle System for TRON
- Cross-chain tokens, also known as cross-chain tokens, are assets that have been tokenized on TRON from different blockchains like Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), and Litecoins(LTC). They can be used in JUST's ecosystem.
